Omeich on the Situation in Lebanon: The Attack on Lebanon Reflects the West and America's Lack of Credibility

Commenting on the situation in Lebanon, Franco Abdelkader Omeich, President of the Italian-Arab Friendship Association, stated that the recent events in Lebanon reflect the lack of credibility of the West and the United States in their efforts to stop the fighting while continuing their full support for Israeli occupation crimes.

He added, "This crime is a source of shame for Western countries, particularly the Americans, who will stop at nothing to achieve their inhumane goals."

Omeich called for the enforcement of international legitimacy, the implementation of Resolution 1701, respect for international agreements, and the urgent filling of the presidential vacancy.
